11 nights / 12 days in country
Uganda is a stunning country slightly smaller than the state of Oregon. "For magnificence, for variety of form and color, for profusion of brilliant life - plant, bird, insect, reptile, beast - for vast scale…Uganda is truly the pearl of Africa." So wrote Winston Churchill in the early 1900s, and aptly so, for Uganda still today leaves clients filled with awe by its unique terrain and wildlife, in addition to its friendly and hospitable people. Join Kimbla-Mantana for gorilla trekking half the world’s remaining population of mountain gorillas at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, experiencing the rich biodiversity of Lake Mburo National Park, trekking habituated chimpanzees and 12 other species of primates at Kibale National Park, witnessing the world’s longest river exploding through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment at Murchison Falls National Park, searching for the tree-climbing lions of Ishasha and watching hundreds of hippos close range during a launch trip along the Kazinga Channel. This and more awaits you in the pearl of Africa.
